Ruliad, 240x200cm, Acrylic, Oil & Airbrush on Canvas, 2026

Ruliad is a term coined by the mathematician Stephen Wolfram for the total field of possible computation: all timelines, all processes & all ways the universe could evolve. Inspired by this concept, the artist explores the underlying patterns through which forms emerge across the body, the natural world and cosmos. Reality is approached as a simultaneous interdependent emergence, with systems branching, converging, dissolving, and reorganising across biological, cultural, planetary, and cosmological scales.

From intracellular processes to orbital structures, the works search for recurrent orders beneath the visible surface of things. By using both mathematical geometry and bodily mark-making,the artist forms patterns of different complexity, uniting them to form a single field of emergence - from the intimate, to the vast.

Alpha Centauri, 184 x 206cm, Acrylic, Oil & Airbrush on Canvas

An exploration of planetary and stellar bodies as mirrors of correspondence. The works present as a meditation on planetary atmospheres, geological formations and gravitational fields, tracing a relation between intimate bodily processes and the transformations of off-planet worlds. Cellular emergence, sensation, birth, decay, and replication unfold in dialogue with erosion, orbit, pressure, atmosphere, deep time - depicted in one interrelated field. The bodies of planets, their movements and conditions, echo within the intimate processes of the human organism. Microcosm and macrocosm reflect, condition, and generate one another.

The artist reflects on how life on Earth is held within celestial conditions: light, gravity, atmosphere, orbital rhythm, mineral formation, and the precise positioning of bodies in space. The human body is part of a larger planetary ecology, inseparable from the forces that sustain and shape it.

Alpha Centauri, 184 x 206cm, Acrylic, Oil & Airbrush on Canvas

Sunyata, 100 × 150cm, Indigo on Canvas

Inspired by the Buddhist concept of Śūnyatā, which posits the inherent spaciousness that exists as the ground behind all form. Galaxies, atoms, and bodies are open fields, configurations of relation within vast emptiness rather than fixed objects. Matter is a fleeting articulation within an infinite continuum: a momentary merging of forces, endlessly dissolving and reforming.

Bardo, 120 x 190cm, Acrylic, Oil & Airbrush on Canvas

Bardo is an art practice involving primordial and ontological thresholds: the liminal biological thresholds of conception, gestation, birth, transformation, and death. Drawing on the depth-psychology concepts of perinatal matrices, subtle energetic systems from ancient yogic traditions, and the Bardo Thodol (an ancient teaching involving insight into the process of dying from the perspective of advanced meditation and mindfulness), the art practice registers attempts to recollect and re-embody the ineffable and pre-conscious dimensions of human existence.

Shén, 90x190cm, Acrylic, Indigo & Oil on Canvas, 2025

In Taoist philosophy, the central channel is associated with Shén: the site where consciousness and biological formation converge. Manifesting as the neural tube and spine, it becomes the inaugural structure of life emerging in gestation - the axis through which consciousness descends into form.

Birth, 42×59cm, Indigo on Canvas, 2025

SERAPHIC

2025

An investigation of the body as a field of transformation through which biological, cellular, energetic and cosmological processes become visible. Through spontaneous mark-making, natural pigments, and ritualized states of attention, the canvas becomes a seismograph surface, registering threshold events of the body as openings, contractions, pressures, forces and emergences.

The works are sensorial records of transition, presenting human life as a continual passage of intensity through thresholds. The body is explored as an instrument that is both intimate and immense: a vessel of primal memory, and a site where personal origins open onto deep time.
